We Make Colostrum Management SIMPLE!

Collect, Pasteurize, Store, Warm & Feed all from One Single-use, Biosecure Bag!
Perfect Udder® Colostrum Management Bags, developed by Dairy Tech, Incorporated, are the solution for handling colostrum from harvest to feeding without the fear of re-contamination. This management tool allows the colostrum to be pasteurized, refrigerated or frozen, warmed up and fed through a nipple or esophageal feeder all from the same biosecure container.

So, how much colostrum does a calf need?

Colostrum intake should equal 15% of the calf’s body weight

That’s why we offer three, dose-specific bag sizes.

Let’s Talk About Biosecurity.

How many times do you move your fresh colostrum? Collection tank to bucket until it’s full, then bucket to bottle, then into the freezer or refrigerator.
Most farmers are moving their colostrum 2-5 times before it even gets fed the to calf. AND, each move increases the opportunity for bacterial contamination. At room temperature, bacteria growth doubles every 20 minutes, so even small amounts of bacteria can very quickly turn into a big problem.

Typical Colostrum Handling

Pasteurize

Most contagious pathogens on the dairy are also going to be shed in colostrum. Pasteurization will eliminate or greatly reduce this risk.

Store

Bacteria in room temperature colostrum double every 20 minutes!

Warm

Absorption of the colostrum is greatly influenced by the temperature.

Feed

Feed the correct volume at the right time.

Skip the Clean Up!

Colostrum is very high in fat and protein content which makes it nearly impossible to clean from surfaces.

This Is One Amazing Bag!

Our patented center-seal bag design results in 30% faster thaw times, improved heating during the heat treatment cycles, and makes them easier to stack in the freezer.

Designed for use with all of our equipment!

Large volumes of colostrum can be batch pasteurized and then metered out into Perfect Udder bags. Smaller volumes can be pasteurized directly in the bag. We have colostrum management solutions for any size operation.
